Fun Factor

Overall The Mighty Quest For Epic Loot is a very fun game. the game brings everything you would need in a full fledged RPG right to your fingertips in a fun and non complicated way. Giving options for players to play the game in different ways whether its arena, trials, or adventure mode really increases its fun factor and replay-ability. In Adventure mode the player can explore, kill monsters, and collect loot throughout countless dungeons while progressing through its simple story. while in arena mode the player can take the loot they have earned and test their skills against other players online. Lastly in trials mode the player can go through different dungeons to get more specific rewards that refresh everyday. The Mighty Quest For Epic Loot starts the player off with basic weapons, armor, and abilities and the more they play the better equipment they will receive. What really keeps you hooked is that there are many different things each ability, piece of armor, or weapon can do. For example their are different elements that can be on weapons and armor that give different effects. This allows the player to put time in to figure out what they like best and take it into battle whether its in the dungeons or online pvp.

Learning Curve

The Mighty Quest For Epic Loot is not too hard to learn but also not very easy at the same time. the game puts you in a tutorial that teaches you the controls and basics about gear, weaponry, and abilities. Even though the game does this and explains everything else as the player unlocks them, the tutorial is very hard to follow and will often times leave the player questioning if they are doing things the right way. The game has a lot to offer and does a very good job at explaining basics but really leaves the player alone on figuring out all of the specifics to each aspect of the game. Once the player has learned and figured everything out the game does progress more smoothly compared to when they first started. Also it may take the player a while to start progressing in the game at their own speed because they often get stopped by these long tutorials and small conversations with characters in the game.

Graphics

The Mighty Quest For Loot does not have the best graphics but it most definitely does not have the worst. The game has a very cartoon type of theme to it and does a great job at portraying that. From the animated and colorful main menus to the 3D platform dungeons you explore the game looks basic though. The couple things that do look very nice and pleasing though make up for it. For example in the main menu your character is up on a pedestal and you can see the different items you have equipped and if they have certain elements you can see them glow. An added bonus to this is that you can spin the Character around freely to inspect each different part of them. The other place where the graphics do excel is the fighting. With each swing and movement the player makes eye pleasing and proper effects are shown. For example when the player swings their weapon you can see the lines of movement behind the attack and other effects based on the weapon and element.

Audio

The audio in The Mighty Quest For Epic Loot is very basic and similar to other games like it. The game really doesn't go above and beyond for audio and you can really hear it as you play.  Although the games music is nice and fits the theme,
the sounds for movement, clicking something in the menu, or even attacking/using an ability in game are all very basic. For example no matter if you are rolling, or walking the same sound is used. Even special attacks do not have a special sound to them it is the same simple swiping sound from the normal attack. With all of that said, even without headphones the games sound is at least very clean and crisp

Controls

Image result for the mighty quest for epic lootThe controls in The Mighty Quest For Epic Loot are very unique and different but simple to learn and understand. You move around by dragging or swiping anywhere on the screen, attack by tapping anywhere on the screen, and use abilities by taping the wanted one on the bottom left hand corner of your screen. Also something worth noting is that based on whether the player is left or right handed the position of the abilities can be moved to the bottom right hand side of the screen instead. The one thing the tutorial does do a good job at making crystal clear are the controls.

Story and Characters

Image result for the mighty quest for epic loot iosThe Mighty Quest For Epic Loot does not really have a set story or characters. The only thing the player really gets story or character wise is the person that pops up for the tutorials. his name is bucket head and he guides you through the tutorial. Other than that the only real story is just the numerous bosses that you have to fight at the end of each section of dungeons. Where the game makes up for that though is the variety of loot the player can receive. There are different names for each piece of gear or weapon along with varieties of rarity and effects.

Game Play and Design

Image result for the mighty quest for epic lootThe overall game play and design of The Mighty Quest For Epic Loot is very nice. Even though there is not much story in the game everything about the bucket head character from the way he talks to even his name fits the cartoon type theme the game is going for. The controls especially fit very well with the theme because they are very simple and easy to learn and make the game very inviting along with the theme. Also the graphics in the game did fit really well. For example every swing of a weapon, movement, use of an ability, or even the menus all really did feel simple and fun to look at just like how you would expect anything cartoon like to be. The one thing that did not fit well though was how the game teaches you to play. If you are trying to make a game cartoon like, simplistic, and fun you should not make everything so hard to understand and have too much detail in everything the player can do. Also the graphics in the game did fit really well. For example every swing of a weapon, movement, use of an ability, or even the menus all really did feel simple and fun to look at just like how you would expect anything cartoon like to be.

Changes

Image result for the mighty quest for epic loot iosThe Mighty Quest For Epic Loot can definitely make some beneficial changes. The game should either simplify everything possible to do or have the tutorial really thoroughly explain all the details so the player does not have to sit there confused for a while.  For example on top of trying to learn what weapons go best with what armor or abilities the game also adds the fact that you can level up everything add extra perks of abilities to each piece too and the tutorial really does not go into those details. Also the game doesn't really allow the player to fully experience the game until they have done enough of the adventure mode. this should be changed because if a player just came to the game because they liked pvp they would have to sit through a boring adventure mode that doesn't even have much story in it.

Recommend?

If you enjoy playing a lot of RPG games on your console or PC this would be a nice game to get on your phone. Besides the only half useful tutorial and the amount of time you need to put in to fully play the game the way you want, it can def be a game you can play to waste some extra time on your hands when you are not home. The game is also free so why not try it and see if you like it yourself.
